Ronnie was a long-time bike mechanic and artist, who worked for and became part of the family of Cosmic Bikes and Rapid Transit Cycle Shop. Cosmic Bikes, owned and operated by Justyna Frank and Chris Stodder, shared this about Ronnie on their website: "Ronnie LoBello "Renaissance Man" (March 20, 1954 - March 29, 2026) Ronnie worked with us for over three decades. He repaired everything from vintage Schwinns to high-racer recumbents. He also helped build both of our shops from the ground up finishing floors, painting walls, building cabinets, displays and work stations."

Make stop motion animations... with bodies instead of puppets or clay. Whether you are new to animation or are a different kind of movement artist, this workshop will make animating an accessible process to all. The gallery will provide a number of phone tripods for participants and we will shoot our animated films with a free app. With guest instructor: Chris Wellems

The Chicago Noise / Free Jazz Orchestra is an experiment. By intention there is no one prescribed way the orchestra will function. Musicians arrive by 7:00pm for refreshments and set up. We start at 7:30pm and finish up around 10:30pm. The conductor sets the rules. Free jazz and noise musicians are invited to participate. Bring your own amps, cables, extension cords, and power strips.

Agitator Gallery invites artists to present their work to be critiqued. In one evening up to 6 artists will display select pieces to a group of peers invited to analyze and discuss the artwork. Each artist will have 15-20 minutes to introduce your work, answer questions and receive feedback. These critique sessions are a great opportunity to network, workshop ideas and get input as you promote projects or develop new pieces. This exhibition brings together a multi-generational collective of diverse Chicago-based artists who use the art of portraiture to examine the human condition delving into its deep archive of history, resilience, and personal truth. By intentionally mixing artists of all ages and abilities, the exhibition collapses traditional hierarchies, focusing instead on the universal impulse to see and be seen. PUBLICATION RELEASE PARTY - Comics artists recruited from Korea, Europe, and other international locales present their work with Chicago artists in our gallery exhibition and are published in Agitator Comics! WORLDWIDE: (journal #6) that spans audiences across all languages and cultures. Get first copies of the newly published comics anthology.

An exhibition of DRAWN CONCLUSIONS. These artists utilize observation of the physical world and then incorporate it with imaginative interventions of the mind to create images composed by handmarking (literally the act of drawing a stylus or material across a surface).
