PERFORMER BIOS:

LUNA RAIL is a social worker, artist, and organizer living and working in Chicago. He’s had images and words published in a variety of zines and journals. Notable among these, are Coraddi Magazine, Alchemy, A Journal of Translation, Genrepunk Magazine, DadaKuku, and Wordfor/Word Magazine. In 2017 he co-founded the Agitator Artists Cooperative. He’s more proud of what can be done collectively than anything he could have done alone.

MIKE TRIPLITT is a Chicago-based nocturnal registered nurse with 7 years of experience. He draws portraits, caricatures, and comics. He likes to doodle things he finds bizarre or beautiful. Working in hospitals has given him a lot of material to work with. He has also recently taken up performing magic and illusion work.

ALEX WILSON is a Chicago artist, designer and producer. He studied painting and printmaking with a focus on artists books at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He draws on themes of mythology, religion and philosophy, often referencing art from throughout history. Alex is the Executive Director of West Town Bikes, a non-profit community bike shop offering youth programs, adult classes and community events since 2004.

ALONSO GALUE is a multidisciplinary artist whose experimental use of traditional painting and sculpture articulates speeches on labor, existential crisis, and totalitarianism. In his Immigrants to go series, for example, he uses clay to portray the faces of food industry workers on floating plates with actual food. As the exhibition progresses, the food rots, creating an uncomfortable situation for the observer who faces the hidden laborers.

WENDY MADRIGAL is a multifaceted artist whose creative journey is deeply intertwined with her Mexican-American heritage and a rich tapestry of influences spanning theatre, Mexican folk traditions, and puppetry. Born and raised in Chicago, Wendy's artistic expression is a vibrant reflection of the cultural diversity and artistic legacy of her Mexican roots. She draws inspiration from these cultural treasures to create whimsical and evocative theater and puppetry performances that captivate audiences of all ages.

GEORGE “LARDO” LARSON is a Chicago based visual artist; born in—and still residing in—the Chicagoland area. George was in his teens when he was first called LARDO. Kids had twisted his last name, Larson. He decided that LARD is pig fat, and DO sounds like money. So he combined the pig with the LARDO/dollar sign bling, for his tag. George paints the pig with the bling, along with other characters of his, on walls and canvas.

George “LARDO” Larson will play freeform improv music (this time not in the pig suit), performance, 2024

Agitator Artist Collective members display their own artworks (as well as the work of Agitator’s Artists In Residence: the collective Stop Motion Plant & other invited guest artists).
