Join us for the opening reception for the exhibit that looks at the non-commercial, non-Christian, pagan, folk & roots traditions of the Winter Solstice and the values of giving, bonding and community building. Together we will trim trees, make decorations, and ring in the season with traditional (ghost) stories, pagan fables, tarot readings, festive refreshments, music and cheer. GIFTS: Please donate to our holiday gift drive; bring hygiene or menstrual products for adults, and packaged snacks, chocolates or stocking stuffers for local kids.

Join Pagan Action Network Chicago for P.A.N.I.C.’s first annual Yule Party! We will be hosting a Yuletide swap of whimsical trinkets, knick-knacks and gifts with local pagans while enjoying the warmth of community. Featuring tarot readings, a Winter Solstice yule goat ritual, and closing with a community drum circle.

PLEASE BRING ITEMS for the YULETIDE SWAP & GIFT DRIVE:
The swap is for people to trade gently used goods, keeping money out of corporations’ pockets and reducing waste while satisfying the crow-like urge to gather pretty, shiny things. You do not have to identify as a witch or pagan to participate. Open respectfully to one and all! We will hold a ritual to celebrate the solstice and cast light on the darkest day of the year. Bring a drum or instrument to participate in the jam! For our GIFT DRIVE: Bring hygiene or menstrual products for adults; packaged snacks, chocolates or small stocking stuffers for kids.
