An Artist’s Installation During COVID Restrictions

Agitator Artist in Residence, Rebeca Soto staged the final show at Agitator’s gallery space at 1112 N. Ashland Ave. in Chicago. In lieu of staging a full gallery show as she had originally anticipated before the outbreak of Covid 19, Rebeca devised a window display installation to show her artworks, and also literally put the process of her art making—while social-distancing—on display by inhabiting the space.

Aside from her work as a fine artist, Rebeca is also an internationally published and respected erotic illustrator. Her work has appeared in the the New Yorker and Hustler magazines.
